TOUR PLAN
Day 2: Visit Jerusalem. Mass of Thanksgiving at Latin Patriarchate; possible meet and visit with Latin Patriarch or Bishop Shomali. Tour of Old City, Via Dolorosa, and Mount Sion, open lunch in Old City. Afternoon trek on Via Dolorosa to Holy Sepulcher. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem.
Day 3: Jerusalem: Mount of Olives, Gethsemane, Church of the Dormition. Visit Ecce Homo for lunch, Saint Anne's Church visit to Western Wall en route to St. Peter Gallicantu. Return to Bethlehem.
Day 4: Discover Bethlehem. Visit Church of the Nativity, Milk Grotto, walk through Bethlehem's Old City to Salesian Artisan Center to see the Bethlehem Nativity Museum, lunch at Afteem Restaurant in Manger Square. Afternoon visit to Shepherd's Field, time for shopping in Christian souvenir shop. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem.
Day 5: Visit Jericho. Biblical Jericho, Cable Car ride to Mount of Temptation. Visit to Baptismal site of Jericho, trip to Dead Sea. Return to hotel for dinner and final overnight in Bethlehem.
Day 6: Check-out of Bethlehem Hotel. Visit Latin Patriarchate seminary for morning mass. Depart for Nablus; see Jacobs Well, Biblical ruins of Shechem, lunch and tour of archaeological park in Sebastia, place of the Beheading of Saint John the Baptist. Afternoon visit to Greek Orthodox Church of Burqin, one of the oldest churches in the world. Transfer to hotel in Nazareth.
Day 7: Visit to Mount Tabor, Cana, and Basilica of the Annunciation in Nazareth. Lunch in Nazareth. Visit to Mary's Spring. Afternoon visit to Zephoris. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
Day 8: Visit to Ceasaria Philippi; boat ride on Sea of Galilee, Mount of Beatitudes, Galilee fish lunch. Afternoon visits to the Tabgha Church of the Multiplication, Primacy of Peter and Capernahum. Mass of Thanksgiving for end of pilgrimage in Tiberias, return to hotel.
Day 9: Check-out and departure from airport.

What is The Holy Land?
The Holy Land is considered to be the region of what is today Israel and Palestine. Though a relatively small region of the world, it is filled with history, culture, various peoples and most of all, places of significance to the three Abrahamic faiths: Christianity, Judaism and Islam.
Traveling to the Holy Land is possible by three ways: by air through Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv, by land through Jordan or Egypt, or by sea at one of two ports (Haifa and Ashdod). All visitors to the Holy Land require a passport valid six months prior to their date of entry. The local currency is the New Israeli Shekel (NIS), although US Dollars are accepted almost in every location. The Holy Land has a Mediterranean climate, with hot summers, warm springs and autumns, and wet winters.
